Welcome to our Magenta Mode Arts digital canvas. Our brand is from the sunny coast of Queensland in Australia. A land where you can go from pristine beaches to ancient rainforests, and enjoy koala hugs all day! I am Usha Vaidyanathan and I am the Founder and Executive Creative Director of Magenta Mode Arts. I am a self-taught mixed media artist with an engineering background. I have transformed my passion for art and design into a creative brand Magenta Mode Arts, hoping to captivate hearts and minds around the world.
What's in the brand name?
Magenta is a colour that occupies a unique position in the colour spectrum, often described as a purplish- red or created by combining red and blue light. In the subtractive colour model, such as CMYK, magenta is one of the primary, alongside cyan and yellow.
Our brand is inspired by this aesthetically lovely colour and Magenta mode describes the authentic ability of our brand to create art which empowers the soul blueprint in each of us. Hence the name Magenta Mode Arts.
Furthermore, Magenta has cultural significance in different contexts. In Western cultures, it is often linked to luxury and sophistication, while in Eastern cultures, it can symbolise harmony and balance. In South Asian tradition, the Hindu Goddess Durga adorns Magenta and represents crown chakra of healing.
